Brenna has been a personal trainer since 2006, prior to that she taught kiddie fit dance/ gymnastics for 6 years. She specialises in ladies group training - Pilates, Fitness, Spinning and focusing on body fat reduction.
She believes everything in moderation, eat consistently through the day. Limit your intake of fats and sugars, and don't deprive yourself as this leads to eating excessively. Eating a variety of different colours and textures, will make you feel that your food is much more appetising. Enjoy your meals, try to sit down and eat opposed to eating on the run, this way you will avoid over-eating. Have plenty of water throughout the day, this too will prevent over-indulging at meal times.
Brenna has a no excuses attitude to doing cardio. A heart rate monitor can be a very handy tool. Keep your heart rate in your fat burning zone and don’t give up, cardio is essential for fat burning. During weight training, don’t be afraid of pushing heavy. In order to stimulate muscle growth you need to push moderate to heavy weights.
She loves watching the team of Fitness Maniacs contestants support and motivate one another throughout the 12 weeks! She has built awesome friendships, not only does she transform the contestants physiques but also watchs their self-confidence improve along with their fitness, as they share the love and passion for training!
Brenna’s hobbies include running, competing in fitness shows, sport, training, general health and wellness are her passions in life!
